Resources

These resources are meant to speak to different needs and provide context for crafting a personal neo-Hasidic practice grounded in both tradition and progressivism.

We know that text is not the best way to learn for everyone. In light of this, we put together a "starter pack" that includes hours of podcasts, videos, and interviews exploring six big themes— three on theology and three on practice.

In mid-2022, one of our contributors, Sam S.B. Shonkoff (read his piece here), put together a comprehensive reading list on neo-Hasidism for Oxford Bibliographies.

What do we actually mean when we say "God"? In this source sheet, we have compiled primary sources from Hasidic, neo-Hasidic, feminist, and queer theologians to help get the gears turning.

For each holiday, we will compile a selection of sources to help facilitate a meaningful and spiritual experience.
